  3. One, hangovers aren't cured by "hair of the dog," it seems like a relief but it still adds to the dehydration. Two, this is not a prairie oyster, this is actually a Red Eye, a spin on Bloody Mary, but using beer. A prairie oyster is nothing more than a raw egg in a glass with dashes of salt, pepper, tabasco, and W sauce (can't spell it to save my life, it's great on meats or as a marinade). That's it! There is no alcohol involved, no olive oil, ketchup, tomato juice, or anything else you had out.

    One raw egg, yolk intact
    One teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    2-3 dashes of Tobasco
    Salt and pepper to taste

    That's how James Bond made them.

  16. Traditionally, the Prairie Oyster is supposed to forego the alcohol and ketchup.
    The Prairie Oyster, for those who don't know:
    1 raw egg, whole yolk.
    3 floz. V8 Juice
    1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
    2 dashes Tobasco Sauce
    1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
    add salt and pepper.

  23. lol. Even though he is a bit drunk in this video, he did say that the Salt and Pepper was for taste… Salt on the rim of the glass is to cut the taste of strong alcohol. Here he uses it to add taste to a very thick drink.
